Toolbar Selectors

Functions Menu
| Control | What it does |
|---|
| Invert | Inverts selection state across the current candidate set |
| Odd | Selects odd-index candidate layers |
| Even | Selects even-index candidate layers |
| Every Nth | Selects every Nth candidate layer using the current stepper value (2–99) |
| Unparented | Selects candidate layers with no parent |
| Parented | Selects candidate layers with a parent |
| Children | Selects candidate layers parented to any currently selected layer |
| Siblings | Selects candidate layers sharing parents with any currently selected layer |
Optional Functions
Available through layout customization but disabled by default:

| Matted | Selects layers using a track matte |
| Matte | Selects layers acting as track mattes (checks all layers, not just visible candidates) |
Top Bar Controls
| Control | What it does |
|---|
| Name Search | Opens a modal for selecting layers by typed name (source or layer name) |
| Functions | Opens the functions menu |
| Locked toggle | Includes or excludes locked layers from the candidate set |
| Shy toggle | Includes or excludes shy layers (when the comp is hiding them) |
| Settings | Opens the layout editor |
Selection Modes
All toolbar buttons and functions respect the same keyboard modifiers:
| Modifier | Mode | Behavior |
|---|
| None | Replace | Replaces the current selection |
| Shift | Add | Adds matches to the current selection |
| Alt / Option | Subtract | Removes matches from the current selection |
| Cmd / Ctrl | Toggle | Toggles each matched layer |
